Man caught with war weapons








 THAILAND  - A man  claimed to be  secretary of the National Council for Peace and Order was arrested by police Tuesday night at a condominium in Chidlom area with an assortment of firearms and a large haul of ammunition of different calibers.

He refused to give any   information to the police or even to attend a press conference held today by the police, claiming that he wanted to consult his lawyer.

Seizure of  fire arms include two M16 assault rifles with one fitted with a silencer, one 7.62 calibre rifle, one .22 calibre Ruger rifle, three handguns, several magazines and about 3,000 rounds of ammunition of different calibers.

Satchaya who claimed to be a secretary of NCPO was charged with illegal possession of war weapons.
