Seized arms linked to political violence




 BANGKOK -- July 11 2014 The Royal Thai Police says the arms cache was seized from a rented condominium room in Thung Kru disrtict in Bangkok.

Yesterday several gun and bomb attacks on protesters of the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) during last six-month long anti-government protests.

The arms cache comprises were seized by police from Room 402/24 on Sricondon building 14 on Soi Pracha-uthit 33 in Bang Mod of Thung Kru district Bangkok.

The room belongs to Mrs Tanainan Termjitcharoen but she rented to a man who he said the police knew his identity she said.

 Deputy commissioner Pol Gen Somyos Phumphanmuang said the arms cache comprises a RPG rocket propeller, three rockets, 13 RGD grenades, 16 sets of igniters, one AK 47 assault rifle, three magazines, eleven 40 m.m. cartridges, a bullet proof jacket, 127 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition , and 18 11 mm cartridges.
