Family members of MH370 still hope for return of loved ones

THAILAND - The Star Online reported that almost 121 days since the mysterious disappearance of flight MH 370, family members are still hoping for the return of their loved ones, despite knowing the flight ended in the Indian Ocean.

Jacquita, wife of MH 370 inflight supervisor Patrick Gomes, was reported as saying that the hope remained that they were still on land, which made their chances of coming back higher.

“We are just carrying on with life at the moment, we just don’t want it (incident) to be quiet, people need to still remember that they are still out there,” she said at the launching of MH 370 Tribute Photo Exhibition by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein in Kuala Lumpur.

The Beijing-bound Boeing 777-200 with 239 people on board went missing on March 8, an hour after taking off from KL International Airport.

It was to have landed in Beijing at 6.30am on the same day. Loved ones still hope for the return of their family members, said the reporter.
