Police Arrested A Suspected Arms Supplier For Red-Shirt.
BANGKOK : -- A suspect who allegedly supplied arms to red-shirt thugs to harass protesters of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee during the protests earlier this year has been arrested by police.
The suspect, identified as 42-year old Phirapong Sinthusonthichart, was presented to the media by Pol Gen Somyos Poompanmuang, the deputy national police chief.
Police alleged that the suspect supplied war weapons and explosives to other suspects earlier arrested by the police namely Yongyuth Boondee, Chatchaval Prabbamrung and Narong Plai-aram.
The police claimed that Phirapong admitted that a house in Khao Chamao in Rayong province had been used as a training ground for the thugs who harassed the anti-government protesters.
